Course Description
The course consists of three units.
- In unit 3, students will answer the essential question “How can we find, make, and recycle the substances we need to live on and beyond Earth?”. Students will study molecular processes in Earth systems.
- In unit 4, students will answer the essential question “Why are oysters dying, and how can we use chemistry to protect them?” Students will study the chemical reactions in our world.
- In unit 5, students will answer the essential question “How can chemistry help us evaluate fuels and transportation options to benefit the Earth and our communities?” Students will study the energy from chemical and nuclear reactions.
