Course Description

In this course, learners continue their intermediate work in Spanish in four key areas of world language study: listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing, preparing them for a wide range of basic interactions with people, places, and things in their new language environment.

In the first semester, students will add vocabulary related to entertainment, technology and traditional celebrations.  Students will work on the imperfect tense, indefinite words used in questions when the answer is negative, and the preterite and the imperfect tenses in the indicative mood.

In the second semester, students continue their intermediate work in Spanish. Students will add vocabulary related to geography, environmental problems, animals around the world, and problems around the world.
