ILC ELA 3: Module 3 Additional Language and Literacy (ALL) Block

This module supports the concepts taught in ELA 3: Module 3 Exploring Literary Classics. In this module, students will closely read several short texts related to the well-known, classic text Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie. Each unit will give students opportunities to practice reading, writing, studying unknown words, and learning other language skills. Unit 1—Students will begin thinking about how the author develops the characters in Peter Pan and how the classic story relates to history. Unit 2—Students will reflect on the story of Peter Pan in order to write a book review of the story. Unit 3—Students will revise a scene from Peter Pan and present it to the class. Note: The ALL Bock module is an integral part of the program to ensure all standards are addressed; therefore, it should be downloaded with the corresponding content module.
