Course Description

This is unit 7 of 8 units. The sequence of units is available in the Read Me First Materials in each unit.

Section A: Flat and Solid Shapes|
In this section, students explore and reason about attributes of two- and three-dimensional shapes.
Section B: Halves and Quarters
In this section, students learn that a square is a special rectangle because it has all of the defining attributes of a rectangle. Students compose shapes from smaller shapes to deepen their understanding of two- and three-dimensional shapes.
Section C: Tell Time in Hours and Half Hours
In this section, students learn to tell time in hours and half hours on both analog and digital clocks.
