ILC 1st Grade Foundational Reading Skills: Module 1, Part 2

This is Unit 2 of 8 Units. The sequence of units is available in the Read Me First Materials in each unit. The First Grade curriculum offers structured phonics lessons designed to provide systematic and specific instruction in the basics of reading and writing so that students acquire strong and automatic knowledge of letters and sounds. This curriculum is designed to be used in combination with the ILC ELA First Grade curriculum. A scope and sequence provides module and unit overviews. Students participate in four modules over the course of the school year. The Foundational Reading Skills modules for a grade level build on each other. To ensure all Iowa academic standards are addressed, all modules for a grade level should be downloaded. Each module has been divided into two parts to make the download easier.
